Earlier film makers were approached Soban babu and Jayaprada to play these characters but they both were busy to give the dates. So they moved to Sridevi and Chandra Mohan. Chakravarthy music is highlighted to the cinema. Sirimalle Puvva song is still trending in music lovers. Director Raghavendra Rao made few changes according to the Telugu nativity and the climax also be changed it as happy ending.
