Tollywood Father.. A Hit Formula

Mother sentiment has now turned into father sentiment. Once, there were movies with mother sentiment which worked wonders at the box office. Father characters were portrayed as very tough and stringent characters. But now the portrayal has changed. Heroism has been modified as sentiment and love for father which is now the new trend in emotional and sentiment movies. Mahesh Babu’s career biggest block buster Dookudu is a film which is completely centered around the father character played by Prakash Raj.  First half of the film runs in a comedy track where as the second half shifts the father sentiment and every scene works in this direction be it comedy or action or even songs.  The hero character takes every care to be a membrane between the news and what father receives. Jr NTR’s Nannaku Prematho is another example. With Sukumar’s direction and intelligent screenplay, the story is entertainingly told with father sentiment as the context of the film. The hero of the film tries everything to try and see his father smile before he takes his last breath. Mahesh’s Brahmotsavam is also in the same list. The hero of the film follows his father’s ideologies and sentiments and tries to unite his family Next weekend release Hyper’s story is also of the sweet relationship between a father and his son. Ram pays the son character and Satya Raj plays his father. The hero of the film considers his dad as his biggest hero. What he does when his dad is in danger is the story. The story has all the commercial elements like comedy, love track and fights but all are again directed towards the sentiment
