Story:

Gods and Goddesses realise that they will lose all their strengths during the time of solar eclipse which makes them incapable of fighting the demons during that time which may result in massive destruction of the world and mankind. To avoid this, the Devas create a Shaktikavacham which protects them and eventually the world. Demons time and again try to snatch the Shaktikavacham from the Devas but fail to do so as the Shakti Kavacham is protected by Sivayya(Sai Kumar) and his family. After Sivayya, Nagamma (Ramya) takes the responsibility of safe guarding the Shaktikavacham and protects in a safe place before she dies. She is reborn as Manasa in the present world. The Shaktikavacham is preserved by archeology department and is announced as  prize for the winner of Delhi Music competition. Manasa who gets to know her past teams up with Nagcharan (Dignath) to protect the Shaktikavacham which is in danger because of the negative forces and characters.

Actors:

Ramya is at her best in both the characters and is ably supported by Diganth. Sadhu Kokila, Amit, Rajesh Vivek di justice to their roles. Sai Kumar spellbinds everyone with his short cameo

Technicians:

As expected in Kodi Ramakrishna’s film, graphics are top notch and recreating the late Vishnu Vardhan in this film is a visual treat for audience. Guru Kiran impresses with his background music but his tunes fail to mesmerize. Kodi Ramakrishna focus on graphics pays off.

Zee Cinemalu Review:

Kodi Ramakrishna introduced the Telugu and South Indian audience to the world of visual effects with Ammoru. He has also scored a massive hit with Arundhati which established Anushka as a leading lady in Tollywood. Both these films are written well and the stories were narrated brilliantly which were complemented by graphics.  Nagabharanam also has a very good story but lacks proper treatment especially in the important junctures which makes the film fall short of the previous ones. But Kodi Ramakrishna enthralls the audience with his graphic sequences especially the fight sequences of Sai Kumar and character of Vishnuvardhan in the climax which definitely deserve a watch.
