Nikhil has time and again proved that he has a separate way of doing movies and also tasted success with his such films Karthikeya, Swami Ra Ra and Surya vs Surya. His film Ekkadiki Pothav Chinnavada released today and here goes our take on it

Story Arjun (Nikhil) gets cheated by the girl he loves goes to help his friend's brother who is under the influece of a ghost. Arjun goes to Kerala to visit Mahishasura Mardani temple for the same. Kishore (Vennela Kishore) accompanies him. Arjun encounters Amala (Hebah Patel) and they both get close to each other. Who is Amala, why did she go to Kerala, why did she get close to Arjun, what does Arjun come to know about Amala after he reaches Hyderabad forms the rest of the story.

Actors Nikhil is at his best with the character of Arjun. His acting in emotional scenes deserves a big applause. Hebah Patel mesmerizes with her glamour. Nandita Shweta is okay with her role. Avika Gor is the special highlight of this film. Her extended special appearance is very impressive. Vennela Kishore and Satya ticke your bones with their comedy. Tanikella Bharani, Prudhvi, Praveen, Raja Raveendra, Annapurna, Sudarsan, Chammak Chandra and Bhadram do justice to their roles.

Technicians Sekhar Chandra scores cent percent with his music and background score. Sai Sriram's cinematography is another asset to this film. Kerala locations have been excellently captured by him. Abburi Ravi is at his best with his dialogues. Chota K Prasad's editing is good. And the captain of the ship, director V.I. Anand gives his everything for this film. Meghana Arts production values ar appreciable.

Zee Cinemalu Review Nikhil has scored major hits with story lines which are not routine. This film is also one such attempt of his. V.I. Anand has managed to convincingly narrate the story and kept the audience at the edge of their seats with his screenplay. First half has a comedy flavor which ends with a twist. Second half runs in a thriller mode with a lot of twists. Comedy scenes, scenes between Nikhil and Hebah Patel and Nikgil and Avika Gor are the major highlights of the film. There have been many movies with the story line of ghost and atma but this movie does not get the audience bored and keeps the flow very entertaining
